Carla Leslie is a seasoned investment marketing and client service professional with over 25 years of experience raising capital across Taft Hartley, Public, Corporate, Foundation, and Endowment funds. Her experience also includes cultivation and solidifying relationships with investment consultants.

Experience & Affiliations

Prior to joining Kearney Capital, Carla was a Managing Director at Seix Advisors from 1994 - 2009. When she joined Seix Advisors, the firm had $540 million under management; Carla was one of the key partners who helped grow assets to over $20 billion. Before this, Carla was a Director of Client Services and Marketing for Atlantic Asset Management, an independent investment management firm specializing in fixed income strategies. At Atlantic Asset, she served as their first institutional salesperson and implemented a national marketing strategy to identify key prospects and investment consultants. She was responsible for national marketing to Taft Hartley, Public, Foundation, and Endowment Funds. Before joining Atlantic, Carla worked in client servicing and marketing in the fixed income division at Weiss, Peck & Greer, and began her career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

Carla is a previous Board Member of the Music Box Theatre and is an active member of and fundraiser for the Advocates Group for Breast Cancer Immunotherapy for MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Education

She holds her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Utah and is a registered representative and holds the Series 7, 50, and 63 licenses.
